Artificial intelligence (AI) has come to revolutionize many aspects of our lives, including the way we create and experience art. AI is already being used by artists around the world to create amazing and unique works of art.
AI artists use machine learning algorithms and models to produce artwork that is capable of imitating and, in some cases, surpassing human creativity. These algorithms can learn to recognize patterns in music, text, images, and video, and use that information to create new works of art.
One of the most prominent examples of AI art is the “Knitted butterfly core” series, created by Elmo Mistiaen (@aidesign.png). Using a deep learning algorithm, his works revolve around the concept of “biomorphic outdoor fashion and absurd design”. Filtered By Frogs (@filteredbyfrogs) is an artist characterized by images that merge nature with everyday city life in a futuristic or apocalyptic way. The elements that he uses the most are bubbles and jellyfish. Another prominent AI artist is VANILLA VOYAGE (@_vainilla_voyage), who uses algorithms to create portraits of a futuristic community on a barren planet.
While AI is still in its early stages in terms of creating art, it’s exciting to see what artists are achieving with this technology. AI is allowing artists to explore new territories and create works of art that were previously impossible to create. We are likely to see even more advancements in AI in the future, opening even more doors for artistic creativity.
